my GOODNESS...i haven't writen in here in a long time. lets see...since i wrote last, i've seen lady and the tramp for the first time! we started a new session for swim lessons and it's the last one of the summer, so next thursday we're all going out for dinner. i'm going with a guy named matt!!! hehe...i can't WAIT! i'm going out with him tonight, actually! i got to see jacob yesterday. we had lunch together and it was cool to beable to catch up on stuff and...oh, i'm gunna miss him! but then again, i'm gunna miss EVERYONE! i got to see jess the other day, too! she came over to show me pictures from her trips and then i went to the movies with jess, val, and a whole bunch of other people to see pirates (i had already seen it, but it was WAY worth seeing again). uh...i don't know what else has happene since then, so...yeah. anyway...i just thought i'd update since i haven't been!

well...I GOT A NEW PHONE TODAY!!!! WOOWOO!!! hehe, can you tell i'm a little excited about it? i'm a loser, i know...but at least you didn't have to see me playing with it. chris had to witness that...my family sees it all the time so they don't care anymore...it's practically expected of me! hmm...yesterday chris and i met david and his friends at astroworld. i had fun but don't know about everyone else. oh well...whatever. we only went on the log one (twice) and tidal wave cuz we got there about 3 and left at 5. at least we got a funnel cake, though...made it ALL worth it! hmm...not much else has been going on...yeah...i guess that's probably it!

i am now officially a SWT (or soon to be TSU-SM) bobcat!! matt hamilton and i went to orientation yesterday and today and registered for our classes today. however, when i was talking to my brothers about my class selection, they said i probably shouldn't have picked some of the ones i did, so when i got home i tried to add and drop classes but can't, so...yeah. we'll see what happens. i'm going to call back tomorrow to see if everything can be cleared up so i don't have to get into the class and drop it.
orientation was sooo...interesting. i don't know. it wasn't like "hey, that was the most fun time i've ever had in my life" but it wasn't that bad. i met some new people, so that was cool! OH MY GOODNESS...there was a guy there that, i SWEAR, looked just like jacob piranio with brown hair. it was CRAZY! i pointed him out to matt and don't think hammy agreed with me too much, but...oh well. I'M GUNNA BE WITH KATIE AGAIN!!!!!!!

so i haven't been too great at keeping this up. guess not too much has been going on recently that's worth writing about...at least not in here. anyway...today was my last day to work with some of my kids because i have orientation next week so i can't work the next week. tomorrow i have to make up my 10:15, noon and noon:45. I DON'T WANT TO GO! PLEASE DON'T MAKE ME GO!!!!!!!! : ( j/k anyway...wow...we had fun today, though. thursdays (or whatever the last day of the week is) we spend doing safety, games, and core values or whatever so today we didn't do much AT ALL. all 15 classes try to squeeze into the deepend to do the poll, diving board, dives, etc. so it was a really slow day. it's crazy how the classes that can swim (that we all like) go by soo much faster than the ones that can't swim...and it SUX! oh well...yeah. i guess that's it for now!
last night chris, chris, ann and i all went out to original pasta co. for dinner...it was really good!! WOOWOO!!!

right...so yesterday i got to work and we were making phone calls to cancel all the swim lessons for the day due to the weather. funny enough, though, we probably could have had them cuz it didn't thunder too much. today we got through

ya know, until i get a hang of the livejournal, this is SOO much easier! oh well...yesterday is when nichole was supposed to leave. of course, i didn't get to see her before she left (yesterday) but i sure hope she knows how much she'll be missed! it seemed to be a day of "good-byes" yesterday... last night was monica monzingo's "off to college" party. she's going to nyu in the fall and her parents had her party for it last night. i haven't talked to her in...FOREVER it seems, but it was nice to see her again. she's SOO pretty, not that she hasn't always been, but...yeah. anyway...it was sad but i gotta go call cary to see if i'm supposed to go to work today...we'll see!

i'm incredibly sad now... today i saw nichole probably for the last time in a REALLY long time. i had to bring her the bscl gifts we got for her and we shared a cry. I'M GUNNA MISS YOU SOOO MUCH, NICKEL! ...i already do... i'm gunna try really hard to keep you up to date on everything, but you're gunna have to do the same, so don't forget to send me your address as soon as you get it, ok? that's all i have to say for right now...i'm going to go sulk in my room for a little while thinking of all the good times we've shared.... :(

i went to see pirates of the caribbean tonight with chris, chris, ann, corine, and mr. rasch. it was SOOO good!!! i highly recommend it to EVERYONE. *hehe* well...i found some stuff out today that makes me...really confused...so i'm going to make this blog really short (like the last few) and go to bed...to think...

still not at work today, but i got my phone call from cary telling me that i have a meeting with jack at 3:00 to get all my paperwork squared away. yeah, that means i get to go back and teach the last day of my classes. guess i need to do all the progress reports even though i don't nkow what has and hasn't been done...and i gotta make cookies and stuff too. OH MY GOODNESS!! mom told me that she'd pay me to do the lawn but i don't really want to. i don't know where everything is and i'm too lazy. would MUCH rather sit inside measuring my shelves so chris can put them up when he comes over again. oh well...what can i say?!

i don't really think anything too spectacular has happened today. my mom and i did each others nails. we went to hancocks again and got the backing stuff (but didn't get enough) and then went to hobby lobby to get a fish bowl for chris's fish. other than that, we really haven't done much today, i don't think. i'm a little bored...i don't have much to do...we're all a little bored...chris works til 11:00 tonight...oh, i'm finished...

went to kemah yesterday with my family (and chris). it was pretty cool! when we got there we could tell a storm was comin but we were going to walk around as long as we could and eat while it was rainin and all. so we walked around to see what all was there and then went to joe's crab shack to eat while we waited for the storm to pass. it was one heck of a storm, too! then we went on the train and the ferris wheel. it was pretty cool. almost as soon as we got off the ferris wheel it started to rain again, so we decided to go home and continue the party at the turner's. we left to come home cuz my dad didn't want to get stuck in traffic that was going to the big show downtown, so...yeah. i couldn't believe how few cars there were on 45 yesterday at 5:00 when we were coming home. chris and my dad commented on it too! anyway...OH MY GOODNESS!! ok, so in the parking lot at kemah yesterday we saw a car, but it didn't look like a car...it was a boat on wheels!! well, a car with a boat body...or something like that. i HOPE someone got a picture of it, cuz it was awesome. then when we were getting off the ferris wheel the guy that owned it was leaving and bubbles were coming out the boat engine on the back of the car. it was SOO cool! haha... when we got home, my mom, dad, chris, and i all watched ghost ship. it wasn't as scary as we thought it was going to be...in fact, the scariest part was the beginning and that wasn't really that bad. it was a pretty predictable movie...but whatever. uh...chris and i watched people do fireworks from my driveway...we didn't do any...we were guessing where all the fireworks were coming from...it was fun! then we waited up for david to come home from a friends house and chris went home and i went to bed...yay for independence day!

i sure got a lot done today! this morning i woke up and thought i was going to have to bring one of my mom's friend's cars to mr. sticker to get the sticker changed and all but i called her and she said she didn't want to do that until after the holiday. FINE BY ME!!! then i cleaned off my dresser...for the most part. since i left for minneapolis i haven't seen the wood of my dresser. my mom "cleaned" my room and now i can't find anything and i've been having a hard time cleaning everything she DIDN'T clean. anyway, i got the dresser today and yesterday chris and i did the bookshelves so i just added a few things to that and...yay! i think i'm almost done. anyway, then i went to hancock's fabric to ask the "experts" what they thought i should do (if they had any advice) for a quilt i'm doing. she told me what i needed to do so i came home and got started with that. at 10:45 or so i left to go to zach's to get him to do something for me then headed off to katie's and mina's. i was SOO busy visiting with katie and mina that i totally forgot i had a denist appointment at 12:15, so i missed it. mom's not too happy with me cuz they're still gunna charge her for it, but...man...oh well. anyway, i got home from that and had to run to the grocery store so i grabbed david and made him come with me cuz it was raining. after kroger, we went to blockbuster to get the man who knew too little for david's little party thing he had today. the blockbuster by kroger didn't have it so we asked the guy to call the one at louetta and stuebner and ask if they had it. he said they didn't so we headed home. then i said something about how to lose a guy in 10 days and we decided we'd get that. he wanted to look to see if they had the other movie just incase so we did and...funny enough, they did! we got them both and went to pay for them when the lady asked if we wanted to get one more for $1 more. we went back and got ghost ship cuz chris said he wanted to watch it and it's a scary movie and i like scary movies! so we got three and...yeah. on the way to our house we saw chris who was going the other way and he turned around and..beat us to our house. anyway...yeah. david's friends came over, we ate pizza and watched a movie, then the girls went home and russ stayed. chris and i made plans with chris and ann and when my mom got home i told her the plan and she said "ok". so...yeah. we went to willy's to eat and then went to AMC 24 but couldn't find a movie none of us had seen and wanted to see, so we came back over here and watched how to lose a guy... with my mom and dad. blah blah...
i'm going to kemah tomorrow for the fourth. my family's gunna meet my mom's sister's family and all and we're gunna hang out, i guess. think chris is coming but i'm not too sure...ever...with him! hmmm...yeah. WHAT'S EVERYONE DOING FOR THE 4th? SEND ME AN EMAIL!

well...work was...interesting today. in the middle of my 9:30 class, cary came out and told me he needed to talk to me at lunch. oh boy did i think i was gunna be in trouble for some complaint i had received or something. nope. chris came to the Y and we went to lunch together (cary wasn't in his office when we finished our 10:45 class so i just left) and when we got back, he had been looking for me to tell me that my paperwork didn't go through at the beginning of the summer like we thought so i couldn't finish teaching my classes. i went and got my drug test for the THIRD time today. i think i'm getting pretty used to it now. i could be a pro at it! *hehe* anyway...i don't get to go to work tomorrow unless my results go through, but i'm HOPING to be back on monday to finish all my classes and everything. cary had a compliment for me today, though. i had to give my subs the lesson plans i've been doing so i gave cary my binder and he was telling someone that i'm a model instructor cuz i keep a role sheet and lesson plans in a binder with all my stuff. I THINK HE LIKES ME! I THINK HE REALLY REALLY LIKES ME! :) yeah...so now i have nothing to do..i'm bored! good thing david's having a party tomorrow. i'll clean all morning and then have 14 yr olds mess up the house i've just cleaned. SOUNDS LIKE FUN! hehe...alright, i'm gunna go read now!

yeah...i'm really bored...i have a couple minutes before i have to go off to work, and don't want to do any housework. my mom wants me to clean my room...she did it while i was in minneapolis and new york and she wants me to keep it looking the way she had it. the only problem is, when she did it, there wasn't anyone living in the room. I WASN'T HERE! now i'm here and i have to keep going in and out, dropping things, etc. oh well...what can i say? i need to bring the bookshelf that chris stained for me up to my room so i can get in and out of connie, but i'm too lazy to go do that. maybe i can convince my mom to do it?! hehe...i'm HORRIBLE! well...it's wednesday which means i only have one more day (after today) with these kids then a nice, long 3 day weekend. FRIDAY IS THE FOURTH!!!! WOOWOO INDEPENDENCE DAY!!!!! alright...i'm gunna go do SOMETHING at least a little bit constructive before i head out the door...

ok, so today wasn't as bad as yesterday at work, but it wasn't a picnic. i got two of my kids to float today!!!! (that's an accomplishment for me, cuz yesterday they couldn't/wouldn't get their feet off the bottom of the pool.) i had to turn my FAVORITE two kids over, though. in my 8:45 class i had two kids that could swim and one that couldn't, so i had to switch my two that could (the sweetest and most adorable, hardworking kids i have this session) with michael's one that can't...at ALL. *humph* oh well...right? anyway...so it rained today while i was at the deepend with my 12:45 class. the roof was open and i got all rained on...but at least i was already wet and in the water so it didn't matter. when i got home from work i went my the office my mom works at to help her with something. now i'm making dinner...what a life...

man...getting on the computer in this house is nearly IMPOSSIBLE! david was on all day yesterday with garrett and then when i got home at midnight last night, the computer was being stupid and wouldn't let me do anything. UGH! anyway...yesterday was my first day back at work! it was interesting...kinna...crazy! i don't like the first day much. the last is SOOO much better, but i survived the first so now all i have to look forward to is the last, right? anyway...i'm teaching 7 classes from 8:00-2:15. my first class is camp kids at the outdoor pool. I WISH THE WEATHER'D HEAT UP!!! IT'S COLD OUT THERE IN THE MORNING! yesterday one of my kids was so cold the whole time that he sat huddled in a ball the whole time, except when i made him get in the water to swim. it's warmer in the water, but he couldn't really touch where we were, i guess, so he decided to get out. then i went inside. it wasn't much better in there even though the water is warmer. the wind was blowing at the end of every class when we all had to get out all wet and everything and go get introduced and split into classes. i had a sweatshirt yesterday and even that didn't really help while i was wet. oh well... i got home from work yesterday and decided to go ahead and do my lesson plans for the next two weeks, so i have that all done! YAY! if i die in the next two weeks, someone will be able to teach my classes and...that will be great! anyway...next we have... oh, i went shopping yesterday for a present for someone and now i gotta make it. I'M SOO EXCITED!
chris, chris, ann and i went to the cheesecake factory last night and were going to go to the waterwall but it had already been turned off for the night by the time we left the cheesecake factory and were headed over there. instead we went over to a spot i kinna pointed out to chris when we were leaving mr. clardy's after graduation. we went over there and walked around on a baseball field. it was much fun! and it was lightning too! (not like raining, but...yeah...far off stuff!) i got home around midnight, and went to bed and now i'm getting ready for work...yay...
