Different Kind of Prayer
Heavenly Father, Help us remember that the jerk who cut us off in traffic last night is a single mother who worked nine hours that day and is rushing home to cook dinner, help with homework, do the laundry, and spend a few precious moments with her children.
Help us to remember that the pierced, tattooed, disinterested young man who can't make change correctly is a worried 19-year-old college student, balancing his apprehension over final exams with his fear of not getting his student loans for next semester.
Remind us, Lord, that the scary looking bum, begging for money in the same spot every day (who really ought to get a job!), is a slave to addictions that we can only imagine in our worst nightmares.
Help us to remember that the old couple walking annoyingly slow through the store aisles and blocking our shopping progress are savoring this moment, knowing that, based on the biopsy report she got back last week, this will be the last year that they go shopping together.
Heavenly Father, remind us each day that, of all the gifts you give us, the greatest gift is love. It is not enough to share that love with those we hold dear. Open our hearts not to just those who are close to us, but to all humanity. Let us be slow to judge and quick to forgive, show patience,
empathy and love.
If you send this to 5 people then you have a chance to make 5 people smile. You won't get any wish for material things; however, you might just find a piece of serenity and the warmth of God's touch.
Tell them you love them today. Tomorrow is never promised!!!

ERIN MADE THE DANCE TEAM!!!!! (no, not the DRILL team, the DANCE team...and there IS a difference!) anyway, on the way back we were walking over one of the walkways (this is kinna hard to explain, so i'll just say it was a bridge cuz it kinna was but kinna wasn't) and spotted a big 'ol fish. of course (since we're like little 3 yr olds when it comes to wildlife) we had to stop to look. not only are there HUGE fish in that "pond" but there are LOTS and LOTS of turtles. both hard shell and soft shell turtles. it was SOOO cool!!! hehe...we had lots of fun. anyway...that's all i have to say about that!

Texans in Heaven
Gabriel came to the Lord and said " I have to talk to you. We have some Texans up here in Heaven who are causing problems. They're swinging on the pearly gates, my horn is missing, barbeque sauce is all over their robes, their dogs are riding in the chariots, and they're wearing baseball caps and cowboy hats instead of their halos. They refuse to keep the stairway to Heaven clean. There are watermelon seeds and pig feet bones all over the place. Some of them are walking around with just one wing."
The Lord said, "I made them special, Gabriel. Heaven is Home to all my children. If you really want to know about real problems, let's call the Devil."
The Devil answered the phone, " Hello? Damn, hold on minute."
The Devil returned to the phone, "O.K., I'm back. What can I do for you?"
The Lord replied, "I just want to know what kind of problems you're having down there."
The Devil said, "Hold on again. I need to check on something."
After about 5 minutes the Devil returned to the phone and said, "I'm back. Now what was the question?"
The Lord said, "What kind of problems are you having down there?"
The Devil said, "Man, I don't believe this....Hold on, Lord."
This time the Devil was gone 15 minutes. The Devil returned and said , "I'm sorry Lord, I can't talk right now. Them damn Texans done put out the fire and are trying to install air conditioning."

so i went to my bio prof today to see if i could talk to him about my grade and the test (some of my answers didn't show up on the "review" form-or whatever it's called). i had emailed him before i went cuz i couldn't go during his office hours and he told me just to go by whenever was convienent. so, like, the first thing outta my mouth was "i emailed you about not being able to come during office hours" and he looked at me like i was really stupid. anyway...we were looking at my test and i got 7 of the eight that were marked wrong right. so i got 12 extra points on my test (which is REALLY exciting for me) so my NEW grade is a 74. i know, i know, it's still not really good, but it's WAY better than the 62 i had before. anyway...i think erin and i are gunna grab some chow soon (since i didn't eat lunch and i'm hungry).

Go Bobcats all the way
Keep that Maroon and Gold on high.
Fight on for every play
Until you hear that Bobcat Battle Cry.
We're going to cheer for our team today
Until the whole world knows our name.
There's no doubt about it,
We're gonna shout it,
Bobcats will win this game.
Eat 'em up,
Eat 'em up,
Go, cats, GO!

I had on new clothes,
New sneakers on my feet.
I was there for class on time,
Went to the back and took my seat.
Yeah, I'm moving up,
I'm already grown.
Soon I'll be graduating,
And out on my own.
I talked to some of my friends,
We were all having fun.
Said some things I shouldn't have said.
Did stuff I shouldn't have done.
I knew I was different.
I felt God touch my heart,
I knew I should set a standard,
But then I'd be set apart.
Walking to the bus, I was not looking for strength.
I heard the car tires screeching,
But now it's too late.
I'm standing in this room,
And I can see the heavenly gate.
Oh no! I never prayed.
I thought I had time to get it straight!
An angel walked to me,
He had a book in his hand.
I knew it was the Book of Life, When would this
dream end?
I told him my name,
And he began to look.
Then he looked at me sadly and said,
Your name is not in this book.
Angel, this is a dream,
No, I can't be dead!
He closed the book and turned away,
He whispered - You cannot
proceed ahead.
No...no this can't be real,
Angel, you can't turn me away.
Let me talk to God,
Maybe he'll let me stay.
He led me to the gate,
Jesus came to me.
He did not let me in but said,
Beloved what is your need?
Jesus, I cried, please,
Don't cast me away from you.
Tears ran down his face as he said,
You knew what you needed to do.
Lord, please I'm young,
I never thought I would die.
I thought I'd have plenty of time,
Death caught me by surprise.
Lord, I went to church,
Please Jesus, I believe.
He said you would not accept me,
My love you would not receive.
Lord, there were too many
hypocrites. They weren't being true.
He took a step back and asked,
What does that have to do with you?
Lord, my family claimed to be
saved, They weren't real. You know.
He said, I died for you,
Now I have to go.
I fell to my knees crying to Him,
Lord, I planned to be real tomorrow.
I couldn't make Him understand,
I had never felt such sorrow.
Then it hit me hard, I said,
Lord, where will I go?
He looked into my eyes
and said, My child you already know.
Please Jesus, I begged,
The place is so hot.
It seemed to trouble and grieve him,
He whispered, DEPART FROM ME,
I KNOW YOU NOT.
Lord, you're supposed to be love,
How can you send me to damnation?
He replied, With your mouth you said you loved me,
But each day you rejected my salvation.
With that in an instant,
Day turned into night.
I never knew such torture could be, Now too late, I
know the Bible is right.
If I can tell you anything,
Hell has no age.
It is a place of torture,
Separated from God and full of rage.
You know, I thought it was funny,a joke,
But this one thing is true.
If you never accept Jesus Christ,
HELL IS WAITING FOR YOU!

(an email from my mom that i think everyone should read...)
I learned something I never knew or thought about...
A 36 year old female had an accident several weeks ago and totaled her car.
A resident of Kilgore, Texas, she was traveling between Gladewater & Kilgore. It was raining, though not excessive, when her car suddenly began to hydroplane and literally flew through the air. She was not seriously injured but very stunned at the sudden occurrence!
When she explained to the highway patrolman what had happened he told her something that every driver should know -NEVER DRIVE IN THE RAIN WITH YOUR CRUISE CONTROL ON. She had thought she was being cautious by setting the cruise control and maintaining a safe consistent speed in the rain.
But the highway patrolman told her that if the cruise control is on And your car begins to hydroplaned - when your tires loose contact with the pavement your car will accelerate to a higher rate of speed and you take off like an airplane.. She told the patrolman that was exactly what had occurred.
We all know you have little or no control over a car when it begins to hydroplane. You are at the mercy of the Good Lord. The highway Patrol estimated her car was actually traveling through the air at 10 to 15 miles per hour faster than the speed set on the cruise control.
The patrolman said this warning should be listed, on the drivers Seat sun-visor - NEVER USE THE CRUISE CONTROL WHEN THE PAVEMENT IS WET OR ICY along with the airbag warning.
We tell our teenagers to set the cruise control and drive a safe speed - but we don't tell them to use the cruise control only when the pavement is dry.

good day...bad day...i really don't know what to think anymore. erin's had nothing but a good day (so i'm really excited about that!) mine wasn't quite so hot, however. not that i'm too surprised, but my week looks like it's not gunna be a pleasant one. in bio we got our grades back from friday's test (THE FIRST TEST OF MY COLLEGE CAREER!!) and i got a....*drum roll please* 62... :( i know, nothing good. totally blew my day. let's see...what happened after that...?! oh yeah. i had university seminar today and that's a really easy, stupid class. after class i went to ask the teacher (he's not a prof) about one of the assignments and he like chewed my head off. "we had an ENTIRE lecture about that. were you not here or were you just not paying any attention to anything that was going on!?" yeah, i was there...and i was paying attention i just didn't know how he wanted a question answered... oh well. so much for making friends with THAT teacher. on the UP side, erin and i went swimming today. i walked the hill to the stupid pool twice today. go me! i went to the bobcat fanatics meeting tonight AND IT WAS ACTUALLY WHERE IT SAID IT WAS GOING TO BE!!!! that was cool. after our meeting we went down to the audio room (or whatever it's called in the room where they tape shows or whatever) and were the "background" noise (aka cheering) during the taping of some football talk show. it was...SOO much fun...(sarcastic). uh...what else. i got back from that, took a shower and erin and i grabbed some dinner then headed back to the library. that was...cool. i'm tired of studying! oh well...ok, i think that's all that's happened today.

i KNEW things would get better...they HAD to! ok, so yesterday was really really bad. and erin was having a bad day too...car accidents all over the place...nothing good. HOWEVER last night before we went to bed, erin and i were talking about how she was going to ask peter to the date party and she was getting all depressed and asked me how she should do it so (since the theme is luau) i suggested we make him an invitation. so we got all excited and i was telling her that this week could ONLY get better and so on and so forth and...IT HAS!!! she asked him today after class what he was doing saturday (my idea!!) and he said he wasn't sure and she asked him to go to the date party with her and gave him the invitation to which he said "wow! that sounds like fun!" so...right now we're all excited about that! (well...i'm really excited, at least!) anyway...i'll write more later!

WONDERFUL way to wake up on a sunday morning... my mom called at 11:15 kinna upset and the first thing she said was "i'm sorry to wake you up. i bet it's raining up there, huh? nice day to sleep in! i just knew that you'd be really upset if i didn't call to tell you. i know you'd be mad at me if i kept you out of the loo..." richard flipped his truck twice this morning outside dallas. he was on his way to new mexico with all his gear to pick up a buddy of his so they could head to california together where they are going to be stationed. apparently it's raining near dallas and he hit a stretch of highway that has a history of being dangerous in bad weather. i guess he hit some water wrong and started to spin, downshifted to correct his spin and overcorrected (or something) and hit a patch of grass which caused him to flip. his truck is totalled and his stuff was all over the place (since he has a truck and all his stuff was IN the truck since he's moving away). he's ok, says mom, but he's got some bumps and bruises. i dunno what that means, but i guess it's ok. i thank God that he's alright and that he wasn't seriously injured!!! anyway...rob and my dad went to go get him so...i guess i'll hear more about it later (and i'll probably tell you more as well).

wow...it was a good day and a bad day all in a day! so i had my first exam today. *eek!* erin and i have been studying for this thing FOREVER and i felt pretty good going into it cuz our prof said that all we had to know was what was on the review sheet and everytime we'd ask him a question he'd be like "yes, but you don't have to know that much detail." so i kinna thought that we knew everything we were going to need to know and everything since we knew everything on the review sheet and made flashcards and quizzed each other like ALL the time and everything. then we get there and...FREAK OUT! the questions are in like hebrew or something. my GOODNESS... oh well...i guess now we know that his definition of "detail" is not the same as ours. we have to know ALL the details. ok, so that kinna sucked.
we went to the outlet mall to go shopping today (kind of to get our minds off the horrific exam) and i got a shirt (for going out!), some undies (VERY cute) and some shirts for school. SOO cool. we were both feeling better and decided to grab some fudge from the fudgry before leaving. we went in there and the people in front of us had like 30 things of fudge. (ok, understand that one slice of fudge-1/2 lb-is $6.50.) we were kinna...confused about the whole thing but didn't think much of it. then it was our turn and we tried some out to see what we liked and were both like "oh MAN, i think i gotta get more than one (our original idea)." the lady working told us about the deal (buy 3 get 1 free) and we told her that this was our "first exam therapy" and she was like "hey, i'll make a deal with you. since i'm closing and you waited for a while, how about i give you a deal where you buy 4 get 4 free?! that's 4 for each of you for the price of two." so, of course, we jumped on the idea! IT'S AMAZING FUDGE, PEOPLE!!!! (but don't worry...we're going to watch each other and make sure it lasts til the end of the semester.) so we're making our decisions and two girls walk in behind us. i didn't really notice them until we said something to the lady working about how the fudge wasn't going to help us keep the freshman 15 off and the girls were like "yeah, but you've always got the rec center." erin and i agreed and kinna forgot about them until they were like "oh my [goodness]. how much are you getting?!" *snicker snicker* i tried to ignore it but they were like making stupid comments like "they're never going to have to worry about leaving cuz they'll never be able to fit thru the door *hehe*" AHHH!!!! i hate rude people. everyone else we had contact with today was really nice...but they were just...HORRIBLE! *sigh* i guess there really are those kind of people in the world, eh?

Ever wonder??
Can you cry under water?
How important does a person have to be before they are considered assassinated instead of just murdered?
If money doesn't grow on trees then why do banks have branches?
Since bread is square, then why is sandwich meat round?
Why do you have to "put your two cents in"...but it's only a "penny for your thoughts"? Where's that extra penny going to?
Once you're in heaven, do you get stuck wearing the clothes you were buried in for eternity?
Why does a round pizza come in a square box?
What did cured ham actually have?
How is it that we put man on the moon before we figured out it would be a good idea to put wheels on luggage?
Why is it that people say they "slept like a baby" when babies wake up like every two hours?
If a deaf person has to go to court, is it still called a hearing?
If you drink Pepsi at work in the Coke factory, will they fire you?
Why are you IN a movie, but your ON TV?
Why do people pay to go up tall buildings and then put money in binoculars to look at things on the ground?
How come we choose from just two people for President and fifty for Miss America?
Why do doctors leave the room while you change? They're going to see you naked anyway.
If a 911 operator has a heart attack, whom does he/she call?
and finally...
Why is "bra" singular and "panties" plural?

last night erin and i couldn't go to sleep (i think this is going to be one big slumber party between us for the entire year!) so we were telling stories and stuff and talking about dreams and stuff. it was all great until we freaked ourselves out talking bout fears we have and stuff. we are both spooked really easily and jump at like EVERYTHING so we were talking about that stuff and totally...yeah. so i got really scared and for the first time since i've gotten here i remembered my fear of open closets in the middle of the night so i had to close the curtains (we have shower curtains on our closets). yeah...we were really scared and i had to get some music for us to fall asleep to cuz then my screen would be on. so i got the most...pathetic cd i could find that didn't have scary songs on it. (i grabbed the one i made for chris...) anyway, erin's waiting for me to go grab some dinner so i'll write more after i do some studying!

if only i had this last year...
YOU'VE BEEN IN MARCHING BAND TOO LONG :
When you hear music and you start marking time.
When you walk behind someone and you're in step with them.
When you try to guess the tempo of your favorite song.
When all your friends are in the band.
When you don't mind changing clothes on the bus.
When you point out key changes and dynamics while listening to the radio.
When every guy/girl you're interested in is in the band.
When you like wearing your uniform. When you consider your drill book a fashion accessory.
When you've had a "trombone-ectomy"
When you practice your instrument more than you talk to your dog.
When being mauled by a drum is a normal part of life.
When people worry when they see you without you instrument.
When "armed guard," means a girl with a pole instead of a guy with a gun.
When band camp is FUN
When you respond to "band nerd"
When someone says the word "box" and you automatically put your head up.
When you remember flats and sharps more easily than your name.
When you dress the lunch line, and urge others to do the same.
When you're alone and you suffocate because there's no one telling you to Breathe.
When slides feel normal.
When your instrument has a name.
When you remember your instrument's birthday and forget your mom's.
When making a line is you biggest accomplishment of the day.
When back marching no longer reminds you of ballet.
When you give your instrument a birthday party.
When you can make brown shoes look white.
When your uniform fits.
When black feathers become a fashion "do".
When you see your section more than you see your family.
When everyone wants to kill the other football team...and you want to kill the other band.
When you have dreams about selling See's Candy Bars.
When you think evening practices should last a half-hour longer.
When you accidentally call your band director "Dad" or "Mom".
When you CAN sight-read.
When you can put on you uniform in less than 10 minutes.
When reeds taste good.
When you think your plume is alive.
When marking time is your favorite form of exercise.
When you have a neck strap/harness tan line.
When you subconsciously start practicing with a pencil.
When numbers past 8 aren't important.
When you're more opinionated about the Madison Scouts/Phantom Regiment Rivalry than the O.J. trial.
When you roll-step through the cafeteria so you don't spill your lunch.
When you'd rather practice than read this list.
When letters past G aren't important.
When you get the jokes on this list.
You actually like marching band and would kill to do it all year long.
The drummers start making sense to you.
You wonder what life would be like if you weren't in marching band.
You roll your feet when you walk to class.
You practice your marching music on a daily basis.
You major in music and use your high school band director as a role model.
Those stupid "band director jokes" are the funniest things you ever heard.
You start screaming "LEFT! LEFT! LEFT!" to people that walk in front of you on the way to class.
You've dated everyone in the band and now wonder if you're ever gonna have another date.
You don't think that flute players have a slight attitude problem.
You think that trumpet players have a right to be egotistical.
You change from your instrument to tuba.
You have perfect pitch.
The band director is always right.
You marry that special someone in your section.
You have kids and force them to be in music.
You can relate to more than a fourth of these things.

AHHH!!! i've been without my computer for what seems like FOREVER!!! and there's been so much to blog aboug...i can't believe i haven't been able to. ok...where to start...
thursday night was the first time it really rained here. erin was at a sorority thing and i was just lazying around in the room watching tv and "studying" when it all started. at first i thought the thunder and rain was on the show i was watching cuz they were inside and it was dark outside and...well...i just assumed since the weather had been nice here and all... erin got back and came in totally soaked. OH WAIT...BEFORE THIS STORY...ERIN GOT A GREEN PARKING STICKER WHICH MEANS SHE CAN PARK A WHOLE LOT CLOSER THAN SHE WAS BEFORE!!!! ok, back to my story... she came in all wet saying that there were people out running around and playing in the rain. being the total crackhead i am, i wanted to go play in the rain so i threw on some shorts and we went out. YAY!!! that was loads of fun. when we got down to the quad, i proposed that we go get katie and go running with her but we decided not to cuz katie lives all the way down the hill and...IT'S A BIG HILL! so we came back and put our clothes outside our room (to dry) and got back in and got ready for bed. little did we know that a few minutes later there would be some chanting going on outside our room. we heard a lot of people but had no idea what they were saying so i went outside to see what was going on. there were about 50 people outside our building chanting "come outside! come outside!" they wanted us to go running around with them! katie was at the front of the little "group" i guess cuz she saw me and ran up and pulled me out in the rain. i ran back to the room and told erin who immediatly wanted to join them so as quickly as we could, we threw our wet clothes BACK on and ran to join the group. we ran all around campus (literally) chanting and screaming and running and sliding in the mud and making lots of noise and...yeah. it was like an unofficial pep rally! IT WAS THE MOST FUN THING I THINK I'VE EVER DONE!!!!
ok...then friday richard came to see me and that was all cool beans and everything. at 7 erin and i went to go to a pool party/bar-b-q for bobcat fanatics and there wasn't anyone there. a little upsetting but i'm over it. i'm going to the meeting tonight so it will be all good!
saturday is the BIG day... erin and i had been planning this river trip for a week and were a little nervous when it rained thursday night thinking that it just might not clear up for a nice toobing trip on saturday. it did, thank goodness, and we went down the guadalope river. started out rather early i guess and it kinna seemed like we were gunna be all alone on the river...at least for a while. about an hour and a half into our float we hear a group of guys. they eventually caught up to us and offered us drinks and so on. turns out there are 8 guys all together for a bachelor party. how awesome is that? so we kinna joined their little party and finished the other 5 and a half our float with them. it was pretty cool. we swam around a lot and...it was great! haha...lots of fun. i can't even describe it to ya! IF YOU'VE NEVER GONE TUBING YOU'LL HAVE TO COME SOME TIME!!! anyway...yeah. that was lots of fun. i SWEAR i put on sunscreen (i know...unusual for me) but i still got pretty pink. and now i'm in lots of pain cuz i have no aloe! can you imagine it? after all that stuff in corpus, i'm without any aloe. it's crazy. i never thought i'd see the day. (just kidding guys)
alright...other than that i had a rather depressing weekend but i won't get into that cuz it's not really worth talking about here.
THANK YOU ANN AND MINA FOR EVERYTHING!!!! YOU'RE AMAZING AND I HOPE YOU KNOW THAT!!!
erin and i are gunna go grab some lunch now so i'll write more later...if i get a chance and have something interesting to say!

hey guys...i forgot to blog about it last night but when erin and i were moving her car from the parking garage out to the soccer field parking lot (where she can park) we saw a deer on the side of the road. it looked like it was about to dash out into oncoming traffic but THANK GOODNESS it didn't...it turned around and walked back to the woods. IT WAS SOO AWESOME TO SEE IT!!! then on the way back to the dorm from the parking lot, erin told me a REALLY freaky story about her experience at a coffee house in austin. remind me NOT to try to pick up hot guys in coffee houses!
it was a busy night last night! erin came back then i went to church, came home and katie called then matt called so i met him outside cuz he had some stuff for me from my mom. after i talked to matt a while, erin and i went to grab some food from jones cuz i was starving and she hadn't eaten either so...yeah. I MISS BAND!! we were sharing band moment stories and everything then nico called so i talked to him. YAY!!! : ) erin and i talked a WHOLE lot last night and stuff and then went through pictures (i showed her last year's band cd...er...part of it.) i got a new background for my computer off that cd...it's a picture of katie and i from the homecoming game! I MISS YA, KATIE!!!
today we checked our mail and erin's parents sent her a care package with lots of food and some butterfly cut outs and stuff so she's putting them all up everywhere. (our floor's theme is butterflies, btw.) well...i guess that's it! i'll write later if there's more to blog about.
HAPPY SWEET 16, ALLY!!!!

YAY!! today was FABULOUS!! erin's still not home so i slept til 10:15-ish then just kinna hung around. i was TRYING to study but that didn't go too well. so i called chris and bugged him for an hour and something. haha...i dunno why i do it but i do. katie (w) called and told me she was gunna come over so we could go to the outlet mall to do some shopping so i had to hurry to get dressed. GOOD THING I SHOWERED LAST NIGHT! so she came, we left. we went to delias, rue 21, always 21 and aero. did a pretty good job. OH MY GOODNESS!! katie introduced me to the coolest flipflops i've ever had in my life. they're kinna tall but it's all good cuz they're really comfy. oh MAN. everyone should get themselves a pair of reefs. (that's the brand name...fyi.) woohoo...i'm wearin 'em right now which is really weird for me cuz i'm not a big "wear shoes when you're inside" type of person. but these are WONDERFUL!
i'm off to the catholic student center for free bbq followed by mass. i'm going alone cuz erin's not back yet and the girls we met that are also catholic (and we have their number) aren't in their room or something so...looks like another lonesome night for me. oh well...katie told me i HAVE to go so i'm going. i COULD have been out with matt and his family if katie hadn't been telling me i have to go mingle with new people, but i know, i know...i need to make friends. I'M TRYING!! IT'S JUST THAT NO ONE HERE LIKES ME! :(

ok, so erin was in the santa clara vanguard this summer (a drum corp for those of you who don't know what that is) and today at 4:30 on PBS the DCI (drum corps international) competition was on so i taped it for her. i met katie at sterry (her hall) and we walked with a group of people down to the stadium for the tx state vs angelo state football game. EAT 'EM UP, CATS!!!! we won 42-7! the first half was really exciting but the second wasn't as great. oh man...and during half-time i thought katie and i were going to die. the tubas were NOT on step together and when the band was marking time they weren't together. it was a big disappointment. i'm almost glad, now, that i'm not marching this semester. i guess that's just how it goes sometimes, though, huh? after the game i went to jones to grab some dinner and on my way back to my room i was listening to the voicemails that katie and zach left me. "bernie's dancin again! go bernie! go bernie!" i love those guys! i called them back but couldn't really hear them cuz the stupid bass drums were sitting right behind them, but oh well. i talked to "the new girl" who doesn't seem all the bad that everyone's made her sound but zach thinks she was just being nice to me cuz he said i was last year's section leader and...yeah. so i got back and decided to see what i'd recorded so after i took a shower (cuz it was really hot at the game) i watched the DCI competition. wow...those are soo amazing to see! now i'm just sitting around, so...yeah. i think that's about all i did today!

oh my goodness...i miss everyone from klein! (well...maybe not everyone...) i was talking to zach last night and..wow...talk about making my day. aww...he's such a sweetie! he told me yesterday that everytime he talks to me on AIM i seem really optimistic. (but he knows way better than to believe something like that.) hmm...then he said something else (i don't member what, but...) WOW!!! thanks, zach!
ok, have you ever had one of those conversations with someone or just met someone that... hmmm...i don't really know how to ask the question, so i'll just tell ya. erin and i were talking last night it seems like everytime one of us talks about someone back home or someone from our past or whatever, the other can relate exactly to the same situation with a former friend or friend back home, or teacher or something like that. it was crazy. she was talking about one of her guard directors and saying that they were really good friends and stuff like that and i can totally relate because he sounded exactly like mina! (...except that her guard director is older and gay...) OH THAT REMINDS ME...all of you klein band people (that read this)...erin is really big in the color guard thing and she knows the black guy (i don't know his name) from last year. she said that he only found out he was gay like 2 yrs ago. she knew him when he was straight. HAHA...CAN YOU IMAGINE THAT GUY STRAIGHT?! (katie and zach) anyway...yeah. i gotta hit the showers before class so i'll write again later!

oh my goodness...ok, so today i'm sitting in algebra...all alone...and some guy comes in and sits next to me. he's a really (seems like) nice guy who started a convo talking about my shoes (how strange). but...yeah. he was pretty cute and everything...yeah. it made algebra so much fun! anyway...i guess that's it, for now. i'll try to write something later!
