OH THE DRAMA...

BE CAREFUL WHAT YOU WISH FOR!!!! ok, so we didn't have practice today...and i was hoping we wouldn't. i was talking to chris about it and said "man, i wish it would just thunder and rain til, like, 5:30." yeah...CAREFUL WHAT YOU WISH FOR!!! rob called me about 5:45 asking where i was (at ann's) and if i was safe (of course) and told me that there was a tornado touch down at klein high school (for those of you who don't know, that's right across the street from my house), one at louetta and kuykendaul, one at 249 and one on 1960. those are all right around my house...no fun. but i think we're safe now. nothing else is supposed to come...not til later, at least.
mom's calling me to dinner, but when i get back, i'll tell you about my day!! :-D (i know, you're just SOO excited *hehe*)
ok, back from dinner and ice cream!
so this morning i woke up around 8:30 and straightened my hair then got dressed and headed off to the bank to open a checking account. as i was driving, chris called me and wanted to know when i wanted to get together, but i wasn't finished (hadn't even started) the bank stuff so...yeah. anyway, i got that taken care of and everything then went and picked him up. we went to randall's, got ann some flowers (daisies, carnations and the purple baby's breath stuff), a nice pooh "get well soon" balloon, poster board (for a card), and a cake mix with icing. off to my house to but it all together... so we put the flowers in the vase that my v-day flowers from matt (thanks, sweetie) came in and tied the balloon around it and started on the cake. while the cake was baking, we came up to my room and searched for pictures of rubber ducks for her card and then chris "fixed" bob. THANKS, CHRIS!!! i don't think we deleted anything i'm gunna need...i think we're safe. but i DID get some crazy message when i started up...but i guess it's ok cuz everything's still working. anyway, so we did that then went to see ann. her surgery went really well and she was out early and got home around 1 (i think) so...yeah. that's a lot earlier than we thought she'd be home, but it's all good! :-D so we brought our stuff over there then some guy brought over this thing that's gunna keep her leg moving so it doesn't atrophy and...IT'S SOO COOL!!!! THAT'S WHAT I WANNA DO WHEN I GROW UP!!! man...it's just...i think it's the coolest thing ever! ok, so chris and i were STARVING so we took a drink order from ann and went to paul's pizza for some lunch. we both got calzones (YUM YUM) and i brought half of mine home for ann so she could have it when she felt up to eating "real food" again. then we stopped at sonic to get ann a route 44 vanilla dr. pepper. when we got home, she was asleep again so we just made ourselves at home (like we tend to do now) and...yeah. that's pretty much how that stuff went.
i just got a call from the Y saying that i passed my pee test and i have an appointment for monday at noon to go fill out all the rest of my paperwork so i can start working whenever someone needs my assistance. YAY!!!
