OH THE DRAMA...

well...today was an interesting day.
i woke up this morning, watched lady and the tramp while i ate pancakes and drank orange juice, sat around all day, picked up MOST of my room, then left at 3 for practice. well...i got there and bailey (the girl i was supposed to be giving private lessons to) wasn't there yet, so i was going to swim my nice 500 before 7-8 practice. i stopped after 150 or 200 because i was going to put my hair in a pony tail (cuz the one it was in wasn't helping much) and olivia was standing over me and told me that her mom wanted me to work with her on freestyle. no problem! so i work with her a little bit, she gets a LITTLE better...then bailey showed up so i worked with her on freestyle breathing and her backstroke start. YAY for bailey! she did SOO much better in our private lesson than she did in practice, though...maybe it IS the lane ropes... we put in the lane ropes, had the 7-8 practice (kids were being alright) then had the 9-10 practice...kids were misbehaving a little bit. between the 7-8 and 9-10 practices, i was working with some of the kiddos on their dives/turns/strokes and 1 person turned into 3 people which turned into a deepend full of people that didn't know why they were there. YEAH...so imagine my excitement. vanessa came to the rescue and told everyone to get out of the deepend and we started the 6 and under practice. those kids NEVER listen so today's practice wasn't much different...sadly... then came the 11 and ups.. *sigh* while i probably WAS really mean, i warned them before they started that if they did them wrong they were going to be swimming LOTS of fly. NO ONE LISTENS TO ME! goodness...i think people just see my mouth start to move and tune me out or something. so caroline was leading dryland today since kim was still gone due to non-driving medication and NO ONE was doing them. they finished their dryland stuff and i, with a smile on my face said, "and now you get to do a 200 butterfly warm-up!" with all the moans and growns, i didn't care. i'd warned them and they hadn't listened... i think caroline is probably the ONLY one who did the whole thing...and sadly she's not the one who needed to do it. i hate how that works out, but i told them that those FEW (very few...like caroline and jordyn and that's it) that did what they were supposed to i was really sorry, but we are a team and we succeed or fail as a team... i don't think they liked that much, but *points to face* does this look like a face that cares?! I THINK NOT!!! *disappointed face*
after practice, though, jordyn and i got to talk for about an hour. because of my bitchiness today, i'm "welcome" on the team! then she told me about how she was talking to caroline and they joked with vanessa about how they were going to suck me into the c-5. i ALSO told them about matt today...and how i can't stay late friday cuz...well...*tehe* jordyn asked when i was going to bring him up so they could "approve" of him. i love this team!!! :-D
chris leaves tomorrow for his cruise so i stopped by...oh...wait...before that... ok, so SOME of you know how terrified i am of driving in the rain. like, a LITTLE rain freaks me out a bit... sooo...i started driving home from practice tonight and it starts POURING. not pouring...i mean POOOOOOURING! i couldn't seen anything in front of me even with poor connie's wipers going as fast as they could. (and there were some idiots on the road without their lights on...) i called david to tell him i'd be late and almost wanted to have him as my daddy to drive out and pick me up. i was SOOO scared! i don't handle the rain very well... but i ended up driving home anyway...scared as i was...
so i'm driving...in the rain...and got a call from chris. since it WAS raining i didn't answer but listened to the voicemail and it was ann saying "come over chris wants to say bye"...so i did! i hung out there for about an hour...talking about my favorite subjects... then i left cuz i was STARVING because all i'd had to eat up to that point was breakfast so i came home, had "tacos" and dad's birthday cake and...yeah.
then i came upstairs to take a shower and kaleb called and we talked until my phone died...YAY!!!
