YAY for the first meet being over. ok, so i went to sleep last night around 1:30, woke up at 6, got to memorial northwest by 6:50, warmed the kids up at 7:45, meet "started" at 8:45...and ended at 2:45. that's one LONG meet. but i think we won. we all left before the score was finalized, but even if we didn't win, it was a good meet. mnw is a REALLY great host. they had bottled water for us, a "coach's tent", were extremely friendly...great first team to swim (and coach against). but i can't say i would have expected anything less from their coach. she's such a nice lady. when she saw me today, she said hi and everything then turned to vanessa (our head coach) and said, "i wanted her to coach for me, so you got lucky with this one," *wink*. yeah...anyway... ok, i have to get to ann's cuz i'm supposed to be "babysitting" for her and i need to jump in the shower first (cuz i a SMELLY girl right now). i'll write more when i get a chance!
