HAPPY VALENTINE'S DAY!!!!!!!!
i hope everyone has as great a valentine as (hopefully) i do. speaking of...christopher, will you be my valentine? *hehe*
what a weekend! i know i haven't been quite the commited blogger that i used to be, but other things have been keeping me quite busy. to start things off, chris and i went to san marcos and san antonio this weekend. we stayed with none other than the greatest karen known to man. it was really nice to see her again...something i have been needing lots lately.
we got there friday in time for lunch (with karen, jace, john, bill, and two "new" guys) then ran some errands that we needed to run including the cashiers office for me and the fabric store for karen's toga! then we went back to karen's and tried to figure out how to tie her material so she looked SMASHING in her stretchy-black-with-matallic-purple-hearts toga. chris and i went to san antonio to the TMEA concert first to listen to the txstate play planets. it was a really good concert and as we were leaving, we saw tc so said hi...then left. we met up with karen and her "bar crew" at the san antonio rodeo fair grounds. that was fun. i met the long-talked-about cody. he seems nice...just not quite what i expected, but he makes her happy and that's all i'm worried about at this point!
saturday we woke up, got lunch at jones and went "apartment hunting". bobcat village doesn't look quite so satisfying anymore...since the girl at the front dest didn't have a CLUE what she was talking about or what she was doing. we looked at some nice places (the exchange 2, the outpost, bishop square, bobcat village) so...we'll see what happens. i showed the brochures to dad last night and he didn't seem to excited about the prices...i just may find myself NOT living with karen next semester after all. and THAT would be super sad...and super scary. so i'll just have to see, i guess. after apartments, we went back to the room and hung out then got karen ready for the toga party, ordered pizza, karen's friends all got there, we got everyone looking great (and a little drunk) then they left for the toga party.
sunday we went to ihop for breakfast/lunch then chris and i headed home. what a beautiful day it was yesterday in san marcos. THAT'S what i miss about that school (and, of course, the friends, but i mean JUST the school). there were tons of people at the river (including karen and rachel) and...yeah. i miss it all. we drove the whole way home with the top down. it was niiiiiice....but today's not so pretty outside. not here, at least.
well, i need to finish getting chris's valentine's stuff all together. have a GREAT day!!! *muah*
