OH THE DRAMA...

wow. sorry it's been so long, guys. things have been keeping me from this things...mainly my lack of knowing what to write and what to keep "secret".
FRIDAY: well...i was originally supposed to go out to katy to see rick because we'd been planning for about a week that we'd FINALLY meet up again but then i remembered that i didn't have my car so that wasn't really an option anymore...plus i was baking cookies for phil. so rick came out here, but by the time he got here we didn't have enough time to go out to lunch as previously planned so instead we went to sonic, got drinks and came back to my house to hang out until he had to leave so he could be at work by 5:30 and i could make dinner for david then bring him to church for his retreat. hanging out was LOTS of fun. i don't really remember what all we talked about, but it's not relevant so i guess it doesn't matter. what matters is that it was fun!
after rick left, i made dinner for david, we packed him then we headed off to church where i saw corrine baumgartner again for the first time in FOREVER! that was nice. we talked for a while, until more people showed up, then i left because i was supposed to pick up the briskets from KBA bar-b-que or whatever. so i did that then headed back home. YAY FOR THAT!
SATURDAY: i woke up early to make phil heart-shaped brownies then brought them to the UPS store to send them off. i couldn't believe all that was necessary to send something to him. i've been sending stuff to richard on military bases for years and it's NEVER been that much trouble...although i usually don't go there so maybe that's why!? chris and i washed (he washed) and vacuumed (i vacuumed and cleaned the insides) both of our cars and dad cleaned connie's top so she doesn't have those icky mildew stains anymore. that's always nice, right? clean car. YAY!
SUNDAY: superbowl commercials were alright. had i put money on the game, it would have been for the patriots because they were the obvious choice (plus they have a cuter QB). uh...no party, just the family watching the game and commercials. mom actually sat through the whole thing! (that's impressive for my mom. trust me!) i love football. LOVE it. hehe
well, i didn't get anything really important (aka-homework) done this weekend but i did decide to change my minor from math to biology...but i can't drop my precal class because then i'll only have 11 hrs and i won't be considered a fulltime student for daddy's insurance. NOT good. *sigh* so i need to find out if i can just take this class distance learning (same prof) somehow or if i can pick up another 1 hr class...although it's really late for that. i don't want to keep this class, though, because it's from 5:30-8 which puts a kink in trying to work at all. soooo...yeah. i emailed my prof this morning and asked her, but we'll see what happens. maybe she'll say something to me later tonight...since i DO have that class today. anyway, i need to figure out what 1 hr class i could take (since clarinet lessons are full) in order to be able to have my 12 hrs to remain a fulltime student...for insurance purposes. if you have any ideas, let me know!
