HAPPY TAX DAY, EVERYONE!!!!! (j/k) but it is G'ma's birthday today, so happy birthday to her!
i got to play "mommy" this morning. my mom and dad are in louisiana this weekend for grandma's 85th birthday party (i'm not going and i'm sad) so this morning i got to do what mom usually does and (1) get david up, (2) make his lunch, (3) make breakfast for everyone, (4) make sure david got to school on time, (5) make sure rob left for his flight to connecticut, (6) clean the kitchen and pick up around the house, (7) take a shower and start my day. oh the joys. hehe...i need to take the puppy on a walk because he was denied one this morning. i didn't want to follow my mother's footsteps THAT much! (she gets up at 5:15 to take him on a 2-mile walk...NOT ME!!!)
i put some "surprises" in david's lunch today, like 2 drinks instead of one, some fruit snacks, and some chocolate pudding. i told chris yesterday that i didn't want to share them, but decided to be nice today and added them in. i also wrote david a little note on a napkin for lunch.
now i'm at willowchase waiting for chris to finish his math placement test so i can drop the math class he wants (i added it to hold a seat for him) and so i can pick up the bio class that i need. oh the joys...*sigh* j/k aaaanyway...what else?
rob left for connecticut and david's going somewhere tomorrow night, so i'm gunna be home alone. maybe i'll rent a chick-flick or two, buy lots of chocolate ice cream, and curl up on the couch and enjoy my night of peace?! we'll see... i hope mom and dad are having a good time in baton rouge.
have you ever taken a shower JUST because you were cold? you may be clean as all getout, but you're equally as cold, so a warm shower seems like the only logical option? that's kind of how i feel right now. someone PLEASE explain to me why the tomball college system feels the need to freeze us out. tomball is freezing; willowchase is freezing...it just seems like a waste of MONEY! i mean, seriously, it's 85 degrees outside and i have to bring a sweatshirt to class because if i don't, i'm gunna be too cold to think straight. explain that one to me. *sigh* some people...
i don't think i have anything else that i can possibly rant and rave about so i'm gunna go...do something else until chris finishes.
