i have a question for EVERYONE that comes from the book i am currently engrossed in, you have to kiss a lot of frogs by laurie graff.
what would you do if your father left you and your mother when you were 4 to join the circus...and he doesn't keep in touch; your mother remarried to a WONDERFUL, honest, reliable, etc. man who has been there for you and with you through just about everything; you meet some older guy when you're close to 35 who seems really cool; you introduce him (as a friend because neither of you are interested in each other an any other sense of the word) to your parents...only to find out that this "new friend" is your long, lost father?
knowing that i share genes with my daddy makes this a little difficult, but i know some people who have been raised by men who did not conceive them. i just wonder what other people think about this. anyway, if you're interested in leaving me your opinion, feel free to comment!
