OH MY GOODNESS OH MY GOODNESS!!!!! YESTERDAY WAS SOOO AWESOME!!!
the astros won 4-3. 2-1 over the cards. i LIKE that...specially since today's game is ALSO in houston. WAY TO GO ASTROS!!!
TEXAS STATE BOBCATS KILLED OKLAHOMA PANHANDLE STATE 75-7!!!! i was working the ticket booth, so some of this is only what i've heard (still rumor), but...they took neeley out in the first quarter. chase played the WHOLE game!! and our POOR third string had to play the whole game. i feel pretty sorry for panhandle's defence. they were ALWAYS out on the field. NICE GAME FOR HOMECOMING! i work until halftime, and apparently the stadium was packed for the first half. MOST of the reason is because all the frats and sororities have to be there *blah blah blah* and they don't give a rat's ass about the WONDERFUL game...or staying the whole game to congratulate the team on their AMAZING victory (no...no hard feelings here, can you tell?!) but most people left at half time because the score was already 47-0 (or something like that). i made some new friends, too! carol and her friend, alicia, left me so i made friends with two guys who were standing in front of me. they wanna cheer with me EVERY game!!! WOOHOO!!!! hehe...one of them invited me to a party at his place, but carol, alicia, and i never showed up. hope he's not too disappointed. after the game, we ate dinner at the grismill and in the middle (more towards the end) of our dinner, some guy came over and invited us to go to some bar with him and his friends. I'M NOT 21 YET SO I WOULDN'T HAVE BEEN ABLE TO GET IN, but they said they'd get me in...i dunno. anyway, carol got one of the guy's numbers...but we called when we were leaving and it was a fake number. the nerve. j/k so we came back here, changed out of our txstate clothing and into something to go to candis's friend's 22nd birthday party. no...we went to eskimo hut first THEN came back here to change. anyway, we got to the party and...had fun. carol threw my drink over the balcony and into the bed of someone's truck. then we came home...and i fell asleep.
tech won their game, a&m won their game...don't really know about anyone else because i was having too much fun at MY game.
