i feel like i should update. it's been toooo long, i know, and for the ONE of you who actually reads this, i apologize jordyn. *hehe* anyway...i'm back up at school and i'm super lonely. chris is here so i know i shouldn't be, but it's kinna creepy. i've never been here not during the semester so i've never seen san marcos so...dead...before. and there are about a MILLION open parking spots. i really hope parking services isn't giving tickets, because if they are i'll be getting one tomorrow. i don't have a permit on david's car and it's not on the outside of the gate OR in a visitors spot. tomorrow i'll move it back, though...after i FINALLY finish unloading everything.
i've been doing laundry all day. not that i had that much (well, 6 loads...) but i've never been really good about remembering that i'm doing laundry (there's no buzz like at home) so the clothes/towels tend to stay in the washer/drier for more time than is necessary. *sigh* oh well.
my mom and dad bought me a piece of furniture to put my tv on in my room. it's a lane. you know what that means? neither do i. anyway, it's pretty nice. smells SOOOOO good inside (it's cedar). after i finished washing my towels, i put them in my new "cabinet". tomorrow i need to go to lowes (which is conveniently right in front of chris's apartment) to get some new handle things. the furniture is a '50s vintage piece so i'm going to get new fixtures and restain it over the summer or something. i KNOW you don't care, but i'm bored...what can i say.
what else is new... i'm making my calendar. too bad jordyn and i didn't take ANY pictures together this year. she's not in the calendar at all. super sad, actually. i'll have to get a picture of us so i can put it on my picture wall. speaking of my picture wall, i need to redo it since my tv now blocks part of it. dang...that's going to be a lot of work. i think i'm just going to start in the corner and work my way from there. hopefully that'll work better than what i WAS doing. i need to get nails or something to put my magnetic board up. i ALSO need to get magnets. too bad my tv remote doesn't work. i'd love to watch myself to sleep. ...another day...
i'm all alone in my apartment and for the first time all day/night, i'm a little nervous about it. where's my big (he thinks he is) dog to take care of me? probably curled up on my bed at HOME not here. stupid bobcat village won't let us have pets. *her-rumph*
alright, i think i'm done for. nothing else to say. i need to clear off my bed so i can at least THINK about getting in tonight...or this morning (since it's after midnight already). i'll try to be better about writing, but as long as things aren't going on, i don't have anything to write about. don't want to bore you!
