i have now been one of those people you see in movies and think "oh man. poor guy/girl." on my way to my car last night after swimming and eating with chris and jill, i had to cross sessom. while i was waiting for the walk sign, a truck splashed a WHOLE lot of water on me. got me all wet from head to toe...literally.
i don't understand our weather. this morning (well..since last night, i guess) it's been raining buckets but right now it's all sunny and stuff. if the ground wasn't so saturated, i'd go lay out because i have a feeling today may be one of the only days that the weather will clear up enough TO lay out. aaaanyway...enough about that.
funny story...earlier today while i was in the MUSIC computer lab waiting on chris to get out of class there was a little "incident". supposively there's a rumer going around that us "sweaty jocks" don't need our computer lab anymore. we don't need the computers like music majors do because we don't have streaming music to download or our own database. HA! i guess (whoever was speaking when i became highly offended) has never sat in on an ACTUAL pe for majors class. i think people fail to realize that there is more to being a pe major than running around all day everyday. GOSH I HATE STUPID PEOPLE!
it really bugs me that people thing our major is SOOO easy in comparison to theirs. i mean. YOU take an exercise physiology class or kinesiology with mj and tell me how "easy" it is. what about motor learning? yeah. THAT'S WHAT I THOUGHT YOU SAID! ugh. anyway... *sigh* i just wish people understood that there's more to PE than what (apparently) meets the eye.

ok...so i'm not too good about keeping up with my blog anymore. get over it. anyway, just thought i'd write because things have been great recently. things with chris are great, things with my friends are great, things with ren are great, family is great. today chris and i went to the driving range after bbq-ed chicken for kathy and i for lunch. isn't he a sweetheart?! i know...i pick 'em well! ;) anyway, he did the chicken and we brought potato salad, drinks and chips. it was a really good lunch!
we went to southwest driving range (not sure if there's another one in san marcos, or not, but just incase...) and chris got us a bucket of 95 balls. i think of them, i probably only hit 15 or 20. poor grandpa had to have been turning in his grave. i think he got fed up with me MISSING the balls so he interferred and helped me hit three in a row. what an awesome g'pa i have, huh?! he's very present in my life even if he is dead. family ROCKS!!! :-D
i'm not sure if i wrote about it or not but kathy, jill, and i have decided to live together next year. right now we're looking at the metropolitan off of craddock.
i had to participate in a volleyball tournament for my vball/bball class on saturday. we got out in pool play (which was fine with us) but it was, actually, pretty fun to play. i'd still rather swim, but it's all good. speaking of swimming, chris and i are going to the pool at 6 to get some laps in.
of all the times i have TRIED to get a tan, i haven't done a very good job. today at work i got burned on my face and in a funny v-shape on my chest. the greatest part about it, however, is that the "v" isn't centered on my chest. instead it's off to the left side. haha...oh well.
harry potter's on tv right now. i'm sure there's something more productive that i should be doing, but i don't particularly feel like doing anything else. HAHA!

once again, it's been forever. i'm at home right now for spring break but i'll be leaving around 3:00 so i can get back before it gets dark. i'm not a very big fan of driving 21 in the dark...if i can avoid it.
yesterday i dropped my phone (i guess) and now it's broken. i have to go to the verizon store to see if they'll replace it or whatever. hopefully they won't make me buy a brand new one...that would suck. PLUS now i lose all my numbers. sad day. i'm way depressed about that whole issue, but hopefully i'll be able to transfer most of them over CORRECTLY!
in my last post i was bragging about a 1000. my new brag is a 2000 with 15 minutes of treading water. i know it's no big deal, but i'm trying to get it up slowly. the pool isn't open this week, so i can't go swimming again until monday, but that's alright...i suppose. not too much i can do about it anyway!
alright, i'm gunna go get dressed so i can go trade out my phone. have a GREAT day!!!
ps--chris bought a 1996 jeep grand cherokee (black) on monday. he loves it...
