I LOVE BEING HOME!!!!! katie and i went out yesterday looking for a hermit crab (to replace the late "hallie") but decided that erin and i will have to pick two out together cuz i don't know what to get. i got some new clothes...not too much exciting, though. i made cheesecake last night for today (thanksgiving...i still haven't gone to sleep) so that was fun. yay... tomorrow i'm going with my brothers to fry's to get some cool, fun stuff then rob and i (and david i guess) are going to look for my mom's christmas present. that should be fun. i'm just ready to get it all taken care of. once we've decided what we're getting i won't have anything to worry about so i'll be less stressed about everything.
while home is good...it's just not school. i miss erin lots. oh well...hope she has fun in LOUISIANA being the "dance specialist"!!! i'm sure i'll hear ALL about it...i hope...
it's late...i need some sleep. oh, for those who care, i'm not really sick anymore *knock on wood*!!!

SOOO much to blog but so little time in which to do it. i'll hit the highlights and if i have time i'll go back and fill in with details!
sunday morning i was supposed to go to church with some fanatics but slept in and woke up sore throated and stuffy nosed. i didn't think TOO much of it at the time and kinna...whatever! then i jumped in the shower and david called me to tell me when he was going to come so we could meet everyone else at the stadium to caravan down to san antonio for the vball championship game and everything. he came around 1:45 cuz we were supposed to meet at 2:00 but no one else really showed up til 2:30 so we got a chance to talk and everything. i think i kinna scare him. i HOPE not, though, cuz he's really cool!! anyway...everyone else showed up and we left for utsa. mike and kyle rode with us in david's truck and we listened to "their music" all the way down there (with little breaks to keep up with the cowboys game). it was great. i think their music is really fun to listen to. it's different than anything i've ever heard before, but i'm always up for new and different experiences.
the ride was fun (even though i was sick) but it was "FREAKING FREEZING!" outside yesterday. we got to the game just in time for the name call thing or whatever. our team did not so well. they were NOT at all the team we've been watching all season. oh well...what can ya say? we lost to nicholls state 3 games to 0...very disappointing.
after the game we (andrea, david, rebecca, jessica, brady, rebecca's little friend, and i) went to macaroni grill for dinner and had fun there...at least i did! then i came home...yay.
erin and i stayed up studying until about 2:30 in the morning and woke up at 8:30 this morning to the WONDERFUL sound of pounding outside our window from the construction. i have to admit...if there's one thing i ABSOLUTELY hate it's the read hall construction. i got about an hour of sleeping because i was constantly up blowing my nose (it was nasty) so waking up with construction was no good. i was NOT a very happy camper...neither was erin...we both yelled at the construction guys...it was no good for them.
i went to aquatic therapy this morning but didn't get in the water cuz i don't feel good at all today and my prof told me i didn't look like i felt very good...which was a bit of an understatement. we went and got sandwiches from jones then studied more for the bio test and just got back from that. i THINK i did alright, but i don't want to say i did really well and end up having failed or something.
erin and i are drinking hot lemonade and watching LION KING right now, so i'm going to go do that! IT'S ALMOST TIME TO GO HOME FOR THANKSGIVING!!! i'm sooo ready to be sick in my own bed with my mommy taking care of me.

WE WON THE FOOTBALL GAME!!!! thank goodness we beat sam houston 49-28 tonight. i think i was going to die if we didn't. anyway, it was a good and VERY exciting game!!! YAY for catching the ball today!!
ok, now that that's all out of my system...i burned my hand today...it was no good. i thought erin's straightner was off and cool when i picked it up so when i saw something on it, i didn't hesitate to wipe it off. the only PROBLEM was, it was still hot so when i wiped it, i burned my hand. now there's a nice blister line on the palm of my right hand. it kinna hurts. i forgot about it at the game but when i got into the shower tonight i got it all hot again and...it's all...it hurts now!
what else happened today!? well...tonight's erin's cotillion for chi-omega so she's out doing that. i HOPE she's having a really good time. i'm sure i'll hear ALL about it tomorrow.
our vball team is AWESOME this year, so tomorrow i'm going with the fanatics to san antonio to watch the final match. YAY!!!
i REALLY should be studying for bio, but the santa clause is on, so i just...can't concentrate. it's all good though. i'm gunna study as soon as i finish this. and since i think that's all i have to write about right now, i'm going to go ahead and study!
YAY FOR WINNING THE GAME TONIGHT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

LAST NIGHT WAS SOOO MUCH FUN!!!!!!!! ERIN WENT WITH US TO FAR WEST (now called cowboys dance hall) AND HAD A GREAT TIME!! i was a little worried that she wouldn't cuz she doesn't like country music and everything but scott did a good job of making sure we all had a good time. WHAT A DANCER THAT ONE!! ;) anyway, not such good luck in the guy department this time. some guy came up behind me and asked me to dance once and he ended up being from TXSTATE and he's majoring in technology and construction. i have NO idea what his name is, though, but it's all cool! a guy asked erin towards the end of the night BUT she thought we were leaving so she said no...AND HE WAS REALLY CUTE!!! but it's all good. i hope she'll go again with us.
HEY GUYS...I "BOOTY DANCED"!! those of you who really know me know that i'm not too...keen...on shaking my bum around or whatever but i did it anyway cuz erin was there and we were all having a REALLY good time. scott made me grab the bum of some guy standing behind me at one point. (he grabbed my hand and put it on the other guys bum.) hmmm...i dunno if there's anything else to talk about concerning last night, so i guess that will conclude the blog for now!

Where Were You? --> Answering The CALL / The Last Corps Trip
If you can read this without getting a tear in your eye, something's wrong
with you. Please distribute.
---
ANSWERING THE CALL
---
The gallant troops of Noble Kyle,
Marched with Cadets and Band.
Echoing across our Heaven's plains,
The pulse of Aggieland.
Behind them, the gates of Heaven closed,
The last Corps trip would begin.
When suddenly, a mighty crash,
Shook the souls within.
St. Peter gazed below to see,
And was saddened by the sight.
The sacred 12th man's mighty fortress,
Had fallen in the night.
He shook his head as if to say,
"I never thought I'd see.
A hopeless moment find those grounds,
How could it ever be?"
Then toward the gates, old army marched,
To stay would not suffice.
St. Peter said, "I know your pain.
But your bravery has a price.
If you leave, then your return,
cannot be guaranteed.
Please tell me that which calls you back,
What is this urgent need?"
"They stand for us, and if we fall,
They are there to help us rise.
They are our treasured 12th man,
With a spirit that never dies."
And from these gates we cannot lift,
The weight that holds them down.
So if it's all the same, we'll leave paradise,
We're needed in that little town."
St. Peter did not hesitate,
The gates were opened wide.
He watched them storm beyond the clouds,
And swelled with utter pride.
Before the gates could close again,
Senior boots stepped in it's way.
"We'll march these grounds again my friend,
It just won't be today.
You see we have a task before us,
Valiant lives have now been lost.
They're feet should walk these paths of glory,
When these gates are to be crossed."
St. Peter understood and watched,
Them march, soon out of sight.
Their job to help the ones they can,
And the others, to give angel's flight.
St. Peter looked back at the band and said,
"I suppose you'll follow out."
And simply in honor of the ones who'd fallen,
They raised a mighty shout.
They proudly played the War Hymn,
St. Peter reveled at the sound.
That let their fallen friends soon know,
The pulse was homeward bound.
St. Peter thought, "I'll see these heroes,
Grace these gates again.
They're meant for Heaven's glory someday,
However, until then...
The mighty twelve who've fallen now,
Will stand over Aggieland above.
For no grander place could deserve the gift,
Of Heaven's eternal love."
by William Keith Davis
---
Please keep the families and loved ones of our fallen twelve in your
prayers.
---
After The Last Corps Trip
---
And the Colonel of the Cadet Corps said,
As he stiffly took his stand,
"It's just another Corps Trip, boys
We'll march in behind the band."
Then heaven's pearly portals opened,
Hosts of Angels showed the way,
For that Fighting Texas Aggie group
On that final Judgment Day.
When more Aggies came in view.
Twelve dressed in Bonfire gear
Walking arm and arm, and singing
Of the School they hold so dear.
Twelve Aggie voices said "Howdy"
To the keepers of the Gate.
"Working hard we just lost track of time,
We hope we're not too late."
"It's the Fighting Aggie Bonfire Crew,"
St. Peter said, 'Behold."
They're ready to light up Heaven,
With their courage and faith so bold".
"I would often watch them building,
That Stack so large and high,
And surely knew the time would come
They would build it in the sky."
And so the twelve came through the Gates,
St. Peter said, "Don't fear,
You are just in time for Roll Call"
One by one, they answered. . .'Here.'
Christopher D. Breen "Here"
Jerry Don Self "Here"
Michael Steven Ebanks "Here"
Jeremy Richard Frampton "Here"
Lucas John Kimmel "Here"
Christopher Lee Heard "Here"
Brian Allen McClain "Here"
Jamie Lynn Hand "Here"
Nathan Scott West "Here"
Chad Anthony Powell "Here"
Miranda Denise Adams "Here"
Timothy Doran Kerlee, Jr. "Here"
Words can not fully express. . .
Always with us. In our hearts. In our minds. In our souls.
HERE!.

SIXTEEN THINGS THAT IT TOOK ME OVER 50 YEARS TO LEARN by Dave Barry
1. Never, under any circumstances, take a sleeping pill and a laxative on the same night.
2. If you had to identify, in one word, the reason why the human race has not achieved, and never will achieve, its full potential, that word would be "meetings."
3. There is a very fine line between "hobby" and "mental illness."
4. People who want to share their religious views with you almost never want you to share yours with them.
5. You should not confuse your career with your life.
6. Nobody cares if you can't dance well. Just get up and dance.
7. Never lick a steak knife.
8. The most destructive force in the universe is gossip.
9. You will never find anybody who can give you a clear and compelling reason why we observe daylight savings time.
10. You should never say anything to a woman that even remotely suggests that you think she's pregnant unless you can see an actual baby emerging from her at that moment.
11. There comes a time when you should stop expecting other people to make a big deal about your birthday. That time is age eleven.
12. The one thing that unites all human beings, regardless of age, gender, religion, economic status or ethnic background, is that, deep down inside, we ALL believe that we are above average drivers.
13. A person, who is nice to you, but rude to the waiter, is not a nice person. (This is very important. Pay attention. It never fails.)
14. Your friends love you anyway.
15. Never be afraid to try something new. Remember that a lone amateur built the Ark. A large group of professionals built the Titanic.
FINAL Thought for the day:
Men are like a fine wine. They start out as grapes, and it's up to women to stomp the crap out of them until they turn into something acceptable to have dinner with.

MAN...i just read through a whole list of "romance" quote things. you know how you could be having a really good day and just ONE thing turns your whole day around? well...not that i was having an amazing day or anything, but reading them first made me want love and then made me glad i don't have it. love sucks but then at the same time so does life without it. what DO you do when the only one that can stop you from crying is the one that made you cry? and then that goes with the saying "no guy is worth your tears and the one who is won't make you cry." does that mean that guy that made you cry even though he's the only one who can stop them...WHAT DO YOU DO NOW?! my heart's broken and i don't even have a reason for it to be. and to think...in 9 minutes i'm going to turn on the tv to watch the bachelor but WHY!? just so i can watch some other girl's heart be broken. *sigh* i don't understand our entertainment sometimes...

walking back from jones today erin and i carried on a conversation with some guy on the phone. wait...let me clarify. they guy was on the phone with someone else and we were "carrying on a conversation" with him. ok, so let me set up the scene for you. he came around one side of the building as we came around the other and said "hey!" erin and i both thought he was talking to us so almost said hi until we realized he was on the phone. but then we were responding to the questios he was asking whoever it was he was on the phone with. anyway, it was funny but i guess you had to be there.

you know one of the BEST things about college is NAP TIME!!! i remember how when i was younger i HATED taking naps more than i hated eating meat (and i HATE meat) but now i LOVE tuesdays and thursdays because i have 3 hrs between classes to sleep and stuff. anyway...mondays and wednesdays are not so great (specially wed) cuz i don't have enough time for a nap...until it's sleeptime but that's not a nap. oh well...random thoughts...what can i say!?

it's one of those days where the weather seems perfect, the sky is sooo clear...all i want to do is hang out outside. *sigh* but then i remember that i'm living in elliot hall and we don't have anywhere to BE outside because of the construction so i'm stuck here in my dorm room...on a beautiful day... oh, what are the chances?
erin's sleeping...i almost over slept this morning. thank GOODNESS her class gets out before mine starts...and that she came right back to the room. i was having a dream kind of like the wizard of oz only not like it at all. had i written about it earlier i could explain that thought, but since it was a lecture ago, i can't remember at all except that i thought it was like the wizard of oz when i first woke up. maybe it was the "there's no place like home" type thing. oh, i'm sooo homesick. :(

yeah, that was one depressing blog i think. i'm SOO sorry for the few of you who actually read this thing. i hope y'all don't think i'm just a rotten, picky, stupid person because that's what i think. anyway...it just...needed to come out. those of you who REALLY know me will understand that but those of you who don't know me so well and haven't known me so long probably won't understand. thanks for trying, though! fingers really aren't being pointed at anyone and i don't want y'all to be like "oh, i have be nice" and "oh, i have to invite her now" cuz that's just going against all of it. anyway...enough of that. i think i'm going to head off to bed cuz i'm in the mood for crying now. anyway, i hope everyone else has a good night and a better tomorrow!
on ONE upside...i got a phone call from mina today that was great and it's only a week til i get to go home again.

one of erin's poem things was someone at a coffee shop and the lady behind the counter asks what she wants...this is pretty much stolen from erin...so i'm at least going to give her full credit for it...
people always ask what you want for christmas, for your birthday, for special occassions but...what do you REALLY want? what does ANYONE really want? i like to think i'm normal and that i want what everyone wants, but...i just don't know sometimes. am i asking for too much? am i just too picky about things?
i want success in all that i attempt. i want to find love and for once know that it exists...and to believe it. i want happiness and to never again have to fake a smile. i want that "fairy tale" ending... i want to enjoy college for all the right reasons. i want my friends to call me. i want someone to call me. i want friends... i want to feel needed. i want to feel wanted. i want to feel welcome. i want to feel appreciated. i want to feel pretty. i want someone to like me...for who i am... i want to know who i am. i want to be liked... but more than any of that, i think, i want to like myself. i want to forget all the bad about myself and for once look for the good...if there is any. i'm tired of hating myself. it really makes life just suck. : (

ok, so funny story... erin and i went to make hot chocolate in the admin building and for some strange reason i got the giggles REALLY badly. she ended up having to carry my cup back because i couldn't take three steps without spilling it cuz i was laughing too hard. HAHAHA!!! ok, i guess you had to be there but it was a sight.
anyway...on a sadder, more depressing note...
zach told me to read the poems in his blog so i did and shared one with erin who then shared some of hers with me. so NOW i feel like i should write...but since i'm no good i'm just going to...yeah... but i'll have to do that later because erin and i are going to watch a movie and do crunches...this weightloss thing of ours...so far so good with the diet!!!

ok, so i went home this weekend...again. I FINALLY GOT TO SEE KATIE!!!!! aww...i miss her. hehe...we had a nice conversation with kaleb on the phone while we were driving TO the movies, getting tickets and waiting for our movie to start. katie and i can make ANYTHING an adventure...even looking for a bathroom. poor zach...haha. anyway, we DIDN'T get to see texas chainsaw massacre (again) but we saw radio instead. that was a good movie. katie and i cried...but we always cry. "where my pie?" hehe...i LOVE being at home!! yeah, so i missed going out with the fanatics this weekend..again...like always...what's new?! oh well. we have a meeting tonight at the stadium to paint the paws...should be lots of fun.
erin and i are going on a diet. i dunno how i'm going to do with this, but it's worth trying i guess. we're going to work out every day (starting tonight after the fanatics meeting) and...yeah. no more good food, i guess. but just think...this is NOT a good time to start dieting. we have turkey day in a week then we have christmas and christmas break in about a month. oh well...it's a good idea...something we probably should have started at the BEGINNING of the semester but it's too late to say that now.
over christmas break erin and i are going to get our friends together and we're all going to see a movie then eat dinner...cuz i REALLY wanna meet her friends and a few of you have expressed a desire to meet her...sooo...yeah! just so y'all know! that's the plan of the moment. more details will come later!

11.To know how country folks are doing, look at their barns, not their houses.

13.Teachers, bankers, and hoot owls sleep with one eye open.
14.Forgive your enemies. It messes with their heads.

according to these psychologists, i'm upbeat and sugar coat all situations...guess they've never REALLY heard me in real life...I HATE MY LIFE!!! : (
Psychologists have discovered that the manner in which people eat Oreo cookies provides great insight into their personalities. Choose which method best describes your favorite method of eating Oreos:
1. The whole thing all at once.
2. One bite at a time
3. Slow and methodical nibbles, examining the results of each bite afterwards.
4. In little feverous nibbles.
5. Dunked in some liquid (milk, coffee...).
6. Twisted apart, the inside, then the cookie.
7. Twisted apart, the inside, and toss the cookie.
8. Just the cookie, not the inside.
9. I just like to lick them, not eat them.
10. I don't have a favorite way because I don't like Oreos.
Your Personality:
1. The whole thing
This means you consume life with abandon, you are fun to be with, exciting and carefree with some hint of recklessness. You are totally irresponsible. No one should trust you with their children.
2. One bite at a time.
You are lucky to be one of the 5.4 billion other people who eat their Oreos this very same way. Just like them, you lack imagination, but that's okay, not to worry, you're normal.
3. Slow and Methodical.
You follow the rules. You're very tidy and orderly. You're very meticulous in every detail with every thing you do to the point of being anal retentive and irritating to others. Stay out of the fast lane if you're only going to go the speed limit.
4. Feverous Nibbles.
Your boss likes you because you get your work done quickly. You always have a million things to do and never enough time to do them. Mental breakdowns and suicides run in your family. Valium and Ritalin would do you good.
5. Dunked.
Everyone likes you because you are always upbeat. You like to sugar coat unpleasant experiences and rationalize bad situations into good ones. You are in total denial about the shambles you call a life. You have a propensity towards narcotic addiction.
6. Twisted apart, the inside, and then the cookie.
You have a highly curious nature. You take pleasure in breaking things apart to find out how they work, though not always able to put them back together, so you destroy all the evidence of your activities. You deny your involvement when things go wrong. You are a compulsive
liar and exhibit deviant, if not criminal, behavior.
7. Twisted apart, the inside, and then toss the cookie.
You are good at business and take risks that pay off. You take what you want and throw the rest away. You are greedy, selfish, mean, and lack feelings for others. You should be ashamed of yourself. But that's ok, you don't care, you got yours.
8. Just the cookie, not the inside.
You enjoy pain.
9. I just like to lick them, not eat them
Stay away from small furry animals and seek professional medical help - immediately.
10. I don't have a favorite way, I don't like Oreo cookies.
You probably come from a rich family, like to wear nice things and go to upscale restaurants. You are particular and fussy about the things you buy, own, and wear. Things have to be just right. You like to be pampered. You are a prima donna. There's just no pleasing you.

ok, so erin and i bought a gallon of chocolate ice cream about a month ago and put it in the "community freezer"... those of you who know me would assume that it was gone in a week, right? WRONG! it's still there...and barely eaten. anyway, erin wanted to go get some so we decided to go. we haven't got an ice cream scoop, though, so we use...whatever we can find. today i remembered that i have knives that my aunt sent with me. can you imagine? knives to get ice cream out of the container...what has college done to me? j/k... anyway, so we're getting ready to leave and erin's making a big scene about carrying this sharp knife around. when we got outside, who should be there but our RA and our hall director...too bad erin doesn't KNOW that's our hall director. oh well...they're probably scared of us too! anyway...yeah...we cut our ice cream out of the container..it was crazy...haha...yay!!! OH THE GOOD TIMES!!!
erin and i were talking today about how we're gunna look on this year when we're sr and laugh.
hey erin "remember when you scared the crap outta that guy when you came outta the bathroom? that was funny!" : )

i had to put the link to this back in my profile cuz mike was getting sad because he couldn't read it anymore...mike, this one's for you babe...
in aquatic therapy we're teaching classes to get our "leader" certification for the arthritis foundation. anyway, i'm SOO glad i got the group i did...we have a BLAST with teaching. today was the first day we didn't do our exercise (we changed groups so we could...i dunno...get a better understanding?!) and the group we got didn't have much fun stuff. tonya and i were talking on monday about how we should do the hokey-pokey but we did the wave instead and the lady that we were "instructing" had fun with that. crazy enough both tonya and i woke up this morning thinking we should actually do the hokey-pokey, so come warm-down time, we were both pumped about it. AND WE ACTUALLY DID IT!!!! woooooooohooooooo!!!!!!!! it was fun. all the other groups are jealous of the fun we have...but they can't admit it. they call us "loud" and "disturbing" we call us "fun" and "energetic"!!! anyway, that was fun!

"Portrait of a Friend"
I can't give solutions to all of life's problems, doubts,
or fears. But I can listen to you, and together we will
search for answers.
I can't change your past with all it's heartache and pain,
nor the future with its untold stories.
But I can be there now when you need me to care.
I can't keep your feet from stumbling.
I can only offer my hand that you may grasp it and not fall.
Your joys, triumphs, successes, and happiness are not mine;
Yet I can share in your laughter.
Your decisions in life are not mine to make, nor to judge;
I can only support you, encourage you,
and help you when you ask.
I can't prevent you from falling away from friendship,
from your values, from me.
I can only pray for you, talk to you and wait for you.
I can't give you boundaries which I have determined for you,
But I can give you the room to change, room to grow,
room to be yourself.
I can't keep your heart from breaking and hurting,
But I can cry with you and help you pick up the pieces
and put them back in place.
I can't tell you who you are.
I can only love you and be your friend.

ok, now i know a few of you are just DYING to know what happened this weekend... because i'm just THAT lazy, i'm going to take it from zach and change it a little...(hope he doesn't mind!)
6:30-i woke up cuz i couldn't really sleep...which sucked cuz i was up and out til about 2 the previous morning with the band cool peeps, but...what can ya do?
11:00-HAIRCUT!! yay...that was fun! when i go in around christmas time i'm gunna get it cut even shorter and penni's gunna color it!! WOOHOOO!!
12:00-david and i went to kroger at 1960 and 45 to get a flu shot...but he couldn't get one because i'm not his mom...or his legal gardian. i got new make-up and stuff for that night...
1:25-LUNCH WITH THE FAMILY!!! i miss that stuff...i love and miss my family sooooooo much. :(
2:15-over to jessica's to help her do allison's hair for homecoming and then jess did my hair. that was LOTS of fun...sooo much hair spray! hehe
4:15-home to get dressed and put make-up on...doug and jen were there and rob was too much of a whimp to zip up my dress cuz he didn't want to pinch me or something so he made jen do it...what a boy...
4:45-i was late getting to zach's house but when i got there his parents took some pictures and we went to brianna hulmes for more pictures, her house is by far the biggest i have ever SEEN, let alone been in but it's SOOOO beautiful!!!
5:20- get to h.b. japanese steakhouse, it was pretty fun, the girls hair almost exploded from the close contact with the fire of japanese cuisine. the food was really good, and it in my opinion an excellent choice.
7:30 we get to the school, and it turns out that they aren't letting people in until 8, that's when our group split up half of us went back to brianna's, the other half opted to stay. we went to brianna's and she gave us the tour:
first was the foyer, with what looked to be italian marble tiling, next was the spanish room which had wood paneling on the wall and was by far my favorite room, then the piano room, which actually had a stage, with 2 grand piano's of course we had to play on them, they were so clear i would give my right leg to have one, then we went into the kitchen which had a total of 34 chairs, then the dining room, then the pantry which in itself was another smaller kitchen, their pantry was about the size of your average college dorm, then was the laundry room, 3 washers and 3 dryer's with a folding table and tv then we went outside to see the pool, and the nature path thing they had, then back inside to go upstairs first was the home theater, which actually had a projector screen, and about 15 lazy boy type chairs, 10x better than any movie theater. then we went and saw 4 different bedrooms, i can't remember who's (there are like 8 kids in her family) then was the weightroom, and the the indoor basketball court, yes it was halfcourt but still the coolest thing i've ever seen, countless bathrooms, all of this was only 2/3rds of the house the rest we couldn't see because people were sleeping. this house was so big it was bigger than any i have ever seen on crips, or any of those mansion shows, no joke.it took up more than half the cul-de-sac it was in.
9:00 we get to the dance again, as we are walking we in we see the cops searching these black guys and speculating on where they might be hiding the drugs, one thought in his socks. and then this lady comes out and says they had kicked out this guy who was wearing a dress and sure enough there he was, saying "yeah because they're sexist" it was sooooo classic, you'd only see that kinda thing at klein. then we go inside and can't find anyone from our group, but we did manage to see this one kid grope his date like prisoner on bail. finally we did, neither me nor miree are what you would call dancing people but it was still really fun. there was probably more drunks and potheads at this homecoming than the past 3 years combined. and some of the stuff that was ooing on was unbeleivable and the administrators just kinda turned a blind eye to it all. for example they put up this big curtain to cover up the coke machines, and the stuff that was going on behind the curtain i can only begin to imagine, and i'd really rather not. oh wait i forgot to mention the lesbian couple, one dressed as a guy and the other as the girl. nothin really serious happened this year. i got to see lauren, michelle, denae, brian, julie, kelley, etc... it was SOOO much fun. i love all my little kids!! they're the coolest people!!! awww...i miss you guys!!! then after the dancewe went over to ally eiken's house for a little while, but couldn't stay too long because zach had to be home and i promised chris b. and ann that i would stop by before i went home to go to bed...and i stayed over there til about 2:30...and was supposed to get up for 7:30 mass...which didn't happen... as we were leaving we passed what looked like a police raid on a party or something, there were like 5 or 6 cop cars infront of this house and more coming. it was all pretty exciting and i wish i didn't have to be back at school, but since i do...here i am!

ANYWAY, so (and this is where i was when mom and dad walked into the room and totally distracted me so i don't have any idea where i was going with this blog...maybe appologies!!)

ok, so now that that's all out of my system... i was in my bio lab when my phone vibrates. who should it be but WILLIAM (scott) SUNDLAND!!! yeah...you're probably asking the same question i was...why would scott be calling me? anyway, as soon as i get out of class i called him back to see why he called (thinking it was some new section problem or whatever...getting all ready to solve something)...and it was katie eckstrom stuff. I ALMOST CRIED IN THE MIDDLE OF CAMPUS when he told me what happened. so i got off the phone with him and ASAP i called katie-baby to make sure she was ok and everything...here's the story she told me...
beth and katie were on their way to school in the right-hand lane on louetta when they came upto an 18-wheeler when they decided to pass him, so they changed to the left lane when the driver decided to get into the left lane and beth (who was driving) got into the right lane since that's what side of the street school is on and the truck driver turned right into them. the police think that the truck bumper caught beth's car and added momentum to her car and then *something happened* and katie and beth went air-bourne over the ditch (thank GOODNESS) and hit a cement sign. those of you who know katie won't be too surprised when you hear this, but the first thing she thought of when she got out of the car was "is my bass ok?" you know, i say this ALL the time, but guardian angels (for those of you who don't believe in them i'm sorry) really work hard for some of us.... thank GOD for angels!

so i'm gunna gripe and complain about tonight's stupid football game vs. nicholles...
WHY DOES OUR TEAM HAVE TO GIVE SO MANY POINTS AWAY!? how do you out play someone and still lose by so much? and why do we give up in the 4th quarter!? and the personal fouls?! WHAT'S THAT ALL ABOUT??! man...argh...ok...i guess that's all i have for that one...
erin and i went to hobby lobby today but before we went, we decorated something for someone. being me and being all paranoid like i am, i decided to move it off the floor where it was so i wouldn't step on it and ruin it. i said (and i kinna quote) "i don't wanna screw it up cuz that'd suck and if i leave it here i'm gunna smear it everywhere." so i moved it from the floor to my desk. as we're leaving i remembered that i didn't have my keys (which were on my desk) so i walked over to my desk and CLUMSILY tripped over my backpack and laundry bag and smeared paint ALL over my sweatshirt sleeve. SUCK! thank goodness we were going to hobby lobby so i could just get another one but...yeah...funny how i moved it so i wouldn't ruin it then by moving it i ruined it...OH MY LIFE SUCKS!!!
then when we were leaving we turned down _______ (i dunno what street it was) and the little train things that come down when a train is coming were down...but there was no train...so erin did a little U-turn and we went down guad...*blah blah blah* before we got to guad, though, we were in the left-hand turn lane and there was a truck infront of us with is right blinker on. i was talking to erin about it and pointed at it then looked to my right, i dunno why, and the old lady next to me looked at it, smiled (kinna laughed) and shrugged her shoulders. ...i dunno, maybe you had to be there for it to be funny, but erin and i thought it was funn!!! anyway....that's all the stories i have for right now!

ONCE AGAIN, THIS IS FROM ZACH'S BLOG!!!! I REPEAT, I DID NOT WRITE THIS ONE!!!!!!
hmmm...well i shouldn't really call it the highlight of the bloggidy but it definitly stands out at the top of the list of things which need posting. this morning stabacracka (a.k.a. katie) and beth got into a pretty bad car accident on the way to school. it was bad enough where they mentioned it on the traffic report on the radio. but anyway they are fine, banged up but fine, we ran into beth at randalls while we were buying her and katie flowers. she seemed pretty good considering her truck had been totaled, beth if you read this, i know that was u're baby, and i'm really sorry. ok so then we went to katie's house (katie u're gonna read this and want to kick me in the balls i think) she pretty out of it with all the painkillers and everything, if it wasn't so sad it would have been funny or as she would say shat u'r pants funny.
oh yeah, now to the details of the accident, now this is just what i got from beth katie and kelvin (who saw it on his way to school) so anyway they were doin about 90 down loutta, when this semi decided to kill some innocent pedestrians, so he pulls out to run them over and in they're panic beth swerves out of hte way ramping off of a compact car, and next thing they knew they were flying through the air, when a hunter in the woods nearby tripped and his gun went off, coincidentally hitting the gas tank as the car was spinning through the air. beth, thinking quickly on her feet, grabbed katie, who had been rendered unconcious in their sudden takeoff, she unlocked, the door, removed both seat belts turned off the radio and closed the windows, then grabbed katie and jumped out of the car. after setting katie on the ground she realized an innocent puppy was sitting exactly where the car was about to hit so she ran and doing a tuck and roll grapped the puppy just as the truck crashed and exploded into a fiery fireball. unfortunatly a squirrel on the side of the road was killed in the explosion. the truck driver, seeing as he had killed the squirrel decided to run for it but beth, with the rage of avenging the squirrels death in her mind chased after him on foot and caught up with him around 1-45 where she hopped on to the back, and then the fight began, apparently the truck driver (who we later found out was named billy bob) jammed a pipe onto the gas pedal and climbed out onto the bed with his bowie knife in hand, beth quickly improvised and picked up a wrench lying in a tool box, after fighting for some time, hopping from car to car, she landed him a blow on the head and managed to stop the truck and took it back to the site of the origional accident where the local police where waiting to arrest him. and maybe have some police brutality, but we can't be sure about that last part. all in all it was just a typical run of the mill car accident.

you know those commercials that just don't make sense? maybe it's just me, but there sure seem to be a lot of them...i mean, ok. let's see...the chocolate milk commercials...I JUST DON'T GET IT!! and who pays for them anyway? there isn't a milk at the grocery store called "chocolate milk"...it's not...yeah...i just don't get it. and the levis commercials have ALWAYS way confused me. ok, enough of that...
you know how when you watch tv you can just TELL are way not true and could never happen in real life (ex-7th heaven) but part of you LONGS for a life like that? yeah...watching 2 back-to-back episodes has put me in a mood like that. but then i look at my own life and my family and everything and i really couldn't ask for a more perfect ANYTHING. my family all gets along really well for the most part and stuff and...yeah. i love them all!! WHAT A WONDERFUL FAMILY I WAS BORN INTO!!

A woman was asked by a co-worker, "What is it like to be a Christian?"
The co-worker replied, "It is like being a pumpkin. God picks you from the patch, brings you in, and
washes all the dirt off of you. Then He cuts off the top and scoops out all the yucky stuff. He removes the seeds of doubt, hate, greed, etc., and then He carves you a new smiling face and puts His light inside of you to shine for all the world to see."

well...despite how much i hate my birthday, today's been a pretty enjoyable day. perhaps that's because no one here knows it my birthday, but either way...yeah! anyway...despite my hating my brithday, one really great thing's happened. ok, i know it's going to sound stupid and the people that this is going out to probably never have and never will read this, but i feel like i should get it out that the phone calls i received from erin and tim today meant more to me than anything. it's nice to know that with all that we've been through and not talking for the past, almost, three years, that you didn't forget me. you may never know how much it meant, but know that it touched me in a way that no one else could have...it had to come from you! y'all are great and i really appreicate your calls! now, don't get me wrong. i'm NOT saying that the rest of you saying it didn't mean anything, but if you knew the history...well...it speaks for itself!
thanks to everyone who called or IMed and remembered! it meant SOO much here at school to know that people still remember me! I LOVE YOU GUYS!!!!

"Wait for the girl who pursues you, the one who will make an ordinary moment seem magical, the kind of girl who brings out the best in you, and makes you want to be a better person. Wait for the girl who will be your best friend, the person who will drop everything to be with you at any time of the day no matter what the circumstances. Wait for the girl who makes you smile like no other girl makes you smile and when she smiles you know she needs you. Wait for the girl who wants to show you off to the world when you are in normal everyday clothes, but appreciates it when you get all dressed up for her. And most of all, wait for the girl who will put you at the center of her universe, because obviously she'll be at the center of yours."

happy birthday to you!!!!
i decided to go check my mailbox today since i haven't in over a week and erin and i both had some mail! i sent off birthday cards and got some as well. THANK YOU CHRIS AND ANN!!!! your card made me laugh...really hard! it's gunna hang on my overhead compartment thing over my closet! WOOHOO!! g'ma sent me a bracelet...i just wish i wore jewlery...you'd think after 19 yrs they'd know, but it's all good...
I HAVE THE GREATEST GODMOTHER IN THE UNIVERSE!!!! ok, so for those of you who are new to my blog (actually...i don't know if i ever blogged about it, so...nm) this summer (2003) i took a trip to new york with my aunt/godmother. she lives in manhatten and...yeah...to put it LIGHTLY she's a firefighter freak! whenever she hears a siren she knows what kind it is and where it is (locationwise) and runs for the closest door so she can get outside and wave to the passing truck/engine. so we're leaving her apartment one day to go meet up with chris and michelle in central park when we pass a firestation. of COURSE we can't pass without stopping to talk so she's talking to them and everything and it's lots of fun, blah blah...yeah. ok, so ANYWAY...she knows, like, all the firemen in new york...and in new jersey from the whole sept. 11 thing and all that stuff and she stops to talk to them all the time and brings them breakfast/lunch/dinner... so we're talking to some and she remembers that she has her camera so she HAS to get a picture with the uniformed cuties so i take it...then they HAD to get a picture with me *blush* so i got one and...oh yeah... ANYWAY...enough of the background info... so for my birthday my aunt sent me an AUTOGRAPHED NYFD calendar 2004!!!!!!! i got my picture taken with mr. january!!! (i wish i had it with me up here at school, but it must be at home.) so...yeah...i just...i have the COOLEST aunts in the world...
...and i'm finished now...

this is from zach cheney's blog... (this is zach's dad, not my own)
"DON'T EVER DRINK AND DRIVE!!!!!!!!!!!!
on saturday morning, those of you who went to competition might have remembered seeing a whole bunch of police cars and ambulances across the street from klein as we were leaving the parking lot well, it turns out a girl from virg. (we don't know who) who was doing 90 down, loutta, and then turn at a fast enough speed to get back up to 90 on to stuebner, where she hit a truck, this happened as my dad (who was driving the uhaul for the pit pops) was leaving the school. and he was the first to see it, he went over and it looked as if she had broken her neck or back, or something, and as he was reassuring her and talking to her she just died in his arms right before the ambulance got there after the police inspected the car they found alot of empty liquor bottles and, even though it hasn't been confirmed yet, it is assumed that she was severly intoxicated. now if that doesn't convince you to never ever drink and drive then, to be honest you deserve what's coming to you."

GOING HOME IS SOO GREAT!! i love my family soo much.
ok, so i got home and hurried as fast as i could to change into my bscl section shirt to get to the game so i could see everyone and everything. my mom and i decided it'd be fastest to just walk instead of trying to park cuz we'd end up parking about as far as we live and i didn't mind walking and so on so off we went to the game. chris was already there when i got there so i just walked right in to the band section...and it was SOO nice to be noticed. i hate it up here at school sometimes cuz i feel like no one knows me and no one cares if i'm around or not...even in the fanatics...the only place i feel at least half welcome. oh well. anyway, so i walked in and a few people saw me and andrea, bless her heart, came running to me when i went to sit with the bscl...after they yelled at me for talking to someone else. oh...i just LOVE my kiddos! anyway...ok, back to my story... yeah. the game was fun. I'M GUNNA MARRY NICO!! (but don't tell him yet...i don't think i'm ready to let him know...hehe...)
chris, kevin robinson and i went to the home side with the kleb and doerre 8th graders to watch the show which was cool cuz we got to see it like it REALLY was supposed to be. man, they're good this year. CONGRATS ON FIFTH AT THE CONTEST!!! :) wish i coulda been there but you know my parents... so other than seeing everyone and feeling like i totally belong somewhere again nothing happened friday night.
saturday...oh what a day... so i'm catholic, right? yeah...and saturday was a holy day of obligation...and my church only had mass at 8:30 in the morning... while i was REALLY looking forward to sleeping in since i can't sleep past 7:30 (on a good day) here cuz of the stupid construction, saturday morning at home wasn't any better cuz someone was blowing leaves at 7 and my mom came in at 7:15 to make sure i didn't forget about church. (keep in mind that chris and i were home the same weekend again, so he stayed over kinna late...which meant little sleep for miree.) church was church...then we went out for beignets at the little place my amc 24 for a "birthday breakfast" even though my birthday isn't for a couple more days. when we got home i had to decide which dress to wear next week and (...haha...i couldn't fit most of them...) decided on one but my mom doesn't want me to wear it for no good reason but it's ok cuz i'm gunna do it anyway...i think...after i talk to zach and find out what he wants me to wear...
after all that FUN stuff my mom and i went shopping. i LOVE victoria's secret. that's a great store! not the greatest, but it's nice...and the container store...i LOVE houston shopping!! so mom and i went there then went to meyer park to get chris and he came with us to kohl's where i got me some boots for when i go to far west again...if we ever go back. i got lots of other stuff (including some more cute undies...funny story...ask chris...) and...yeah. then mom, chris and i went to eat and went back home where i made 3 cakes and 4 cupcakes!
sunday was kinna a blah day. i gave blood, though...that's cool...i guess...anyway...i think i'm finished...i'll blog more later... *muah*
